This is a full time role working 37.5hrs per week (Covering shifts between 8 am until 10 pm – There is weekend on-call)
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide a professional standard of excellence in radiographic services for all patients
Routinely perform all imaging processing, including basic PACS tasks e.g. loading images onto PACS.
Assist the day to day running of the imaging service
Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
To preferably have some MRI experience and have knowledge of MRI.
To have CT experience and be competent in CT scanning.
Training in MRI/CT will be provided for dedicated examinations and specific protocols.
Share clinical knowledge with junior colleagues both formally (through CPD sessions/clinical competency forms) and informally (ad hoc teaching/training opportunities).
To participate on the shift rotation in all modalities, and undertake weekend and On-call duties in CT and MRI.
To help with booking of immediate/on the day appointments and maintain appropriate departmental records as necessary.
Skills & Experience
Degree within Radiography
Have experience within modalities, in particular CT and MRI.
Knowledge of processes and procedures in radiography
