Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent deputy radiotherapy Manager in central London.

To act as Deputy to the Radiotherapy Service Manager and to be a Systems Administrator for the Radiotherapy computerized patient management system

 

This is a part time role working 26.5 hrs per week on a fixed term contract.

 

 

The salary being offered is competitive and will be dependent upon skills and experience.

 

Job Responsibility

 

  • In conjunction with the other Superintendents, ensure all referrals for radiotherapy are dealt with promptly and efficiently in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • In conjunction with senior radiotherapeutic staff, agree, implement and monitor systems of work, quality assurance procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain effective liaison with all appropriate staff to ensure the provision of a high quality service and a smooth and efficient work flow through the department.
  • In conjunction with other health professionals, support and participate in a team approach to problem solving leading to the continued development of the radiotherapy service.
  • Assist in the recruitment and retention of the radiotherapeutic staff

Skills and Experience

  • DCR(T)/BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
  • HPC registration
  • Extensive experience at Superintendent level
